Black Gold All-Purpose Potting Soil with RESiLIENCE - 16 Qt

Ready-to-Use Container Mix with Built-In Feeding - 16 Qt

Mixing a growing medium and adding fertilizer on a schedule takes time and invites mistakes. This potting soil comes with a controlled release fertilizer already included, so plants in containers receive steady feeding for up to six months. It is made for both indoor and outdoor container plantings.

The 16 Qt size suits hobbyists, small trials, and growers filling a handful of pots or starting a few containers. Larger operations will want to match volume to the number of containers they plan to fill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to add fertilizer?
A: The mix includes a controlled release fertilizer that feeds plants for up to six months. Watch plant growth and adjust if your plants have different needs.

Q: Can I use it indoors?
A: Yes. It is intended for both indoor and outdoor container plantings.

Q: What does controlled release fertilizer mean?
A: It is fertilizer that releases nutrients gradually over time rather than all at once. This reduces how often you need to feed.

Q: Is it suitable for hydroponic systems?
A: This is a soil-based potting mix for containers. Hydroponic systems typically use inert media and nutrient solutions instead.

Q: How does it handle water?
A: It is formulated to retain moisture while draining well. That helps avoid both dry-out and waterlogged roots.
