Root Royale Coco Brick - 5 kg - 12 x 12 x 5-in

Coco Coir Medium That Holds Water and Stays Loose - 5 kg Brick

Dense, soggy or compacted media starve roots of air and make watering unpredictable. This coco coir brick is made from coconut husk fiber, absorbs water readily, and contains cellulose that helps the medium resist compacting and breaking down. It is aged and washed to reduce EC, and it is sold synthetic free and virus and disease free.

The 5 kg brick suits growers who fill containers regularly, from a home gardener setting up several pots to a small indoor operation mixing media in batches. Larger commercial runs can order multiple units.

Key Features & Benefits

• 100% coco husk — a single-ingredient medium made of coco coir fiber, so you know what goes into your containers.
• High water absorption — the fiber takes up water readily, which supports steady moisture at the root zone.
• Aged and washed — the treatment reduces EC, and the listed EC is below 0.3.
• Synthetic free — no synthetic content in the medium.
• Virus and disease free — a clean starting medium for new plantings.

Who Should Use Root Royale Coco Brick

Use it if you grow in pots, containers or hydroponic systems that take coco coir and want a consistent, low-EC base. It works for hobby and licensed commercial growers alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I prepare the brick?
A: Cut open the top of the bag and pour the coco into a pot or container. Fill to your desired level and compact it firmly. Then moisten it with a nutrient solution designed for coco coir media.

Q: What does EC mean?
A: EC is electrical conductivity, a measure of the dissolved salts in a medium. Lower starting EC gives you more control over your nutrient program. This brick is listed at below 0.3.

Q: Does it contain synthetic ingredients?
A: No. It is listed as synthetic free, and its only ingredient is coco coir fiber.

Q: Why does cellulose content matter?
A: Cellulose is a structural fiber component. The 45% cellulose content helps the medium resist compacting and breaking down over time.

Q: How does coco differ from soil-based media?
A: Coco coir is a soilless fiber medium that holds water while staying open. It is usually fed with nutrient solution made for coco rather than relying on nutrients in the medium.

Q: How big is one brick?
A: Each brick is 12 x 12 x 5 in and weighs 5 kg, with a shipping weight of 9.8 lb. It is sold individually.
