Mr. B's Green Trees Organic Growth - 40 lb (5 Gal) - 7-4-4 Organic Fertilizer

Organic Nutrition for Vigorous Vegetative Growth - 40 lb Container

Plants that stall during vegetative growth rarely recover that lost size later. This organic fertilizer and soil amendment supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in a 7-4-4 analysis, drawn from 17 separate organic inputs, so plants get a broad nutrient supply from one product.

The 40 lb (5 Gal) container suits growers who run several containers or beds, including those who reuse living soil season after season. Home gardeners can work through it over multiple cycles, and small commercial operations can use it for regular top dressing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does 7-4-4 mean?
A: The three numbers are the percentages of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the product. This one is higher in nitrogen, which supports leafy vegetative growth.

Q: How do I apply it?
A: Use it as a top dress on the soil surface, or mix it into soil as an amendment before planting. Follow the label for rates suited to your container size.

Q: Can I use it in reused living soil?
A: Yes. It is intended for living soils that are reused season after season. It pairs with compost teas and other beneficial microbial applications.

Q: How does an organic amendment differ from a mineral fertilizer?
A: Organic inputs come from natural sources and feed the soil biology as well as the plant. Mineral fertilizers typically supply nutrients in a form plants take up directly.

Q: Is this a hydroponic nutrient?
A: No. It is a soil amendment and top dress for soil-based cultivation, not a solution for hydroponic reservoirs.

Q: How large is the package?
A: It is a single 40 lb (5 Gal) container. It ships at 46.2 lb and measures 17 x 17 x 17 in.
