Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much should I mix?
A: For vegetables and flowers, mix 1-2 ounces (30-60 mL) per 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water. Apply that to 20 square feet (1.9 sq. meters) every week while plants are growing.

Q: Can I spray it on leaves?
A: Yes. The product can be applied to the root zone, sprayed onto leaf surfaces, or both.

Q: What does OMRI listed mean?
A: OMRI is an independent organization that reviews inputs for use in organic production. A listing means the product has been reviewed for that purpose.

Q: Why is phosphoric acid in an organic fertilizer?
A: It acts as a stabilizer for the fish-based formula. The product carries OMRI and CDFA listings.

Q: Can I store the diluted mix?
A: No. Mix only what you plan to use, because the label says not to store diluted fertilizer.

Q: What handling precautions apply?
A: Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts and sores, and wash hands after use. Keep it out of reach of children, as it may be harmful if swallowed.
