Monitor Nutrient Solution Around the Clock - pH, EC, TDS and Temperature
Nutrient solution drifts, and a spot check can miss it. This continuous meter tracks pH, EC or TDS, and temperature on one large LCD, so you can see changes in your reservoir as they happen. It ships factory calibrated for pH, EC and TDS, and automatic temperature compensation keeps readings steady as water temperature moves.
Sold as a single unit, it suits home growers running one or two hydroponic systems and commercial operations that want a dedicated monitor at each reservoir. Calibration solutions and a storage solution are included, so you can start straight away.
Key Features & Benefits
- Three readings at once — the large LCD shows pH, EC or TDS, and temperature together.
- Push-button digital calibration — recalibrate to any point within the meter's range.
- Replaceable sensors — SP-C2 for conductivity and SP-P5 for pH can be swapped as they wear.
- Automatic temperature compensation — keeps readings consistent across water temperatures.
- Data hold — stores up to 6 data values for comparison.
Who Should Use HM Digital Hydromaster 100
Growers running recirculating or reservoir-based hydroponic systems who need constant visibility of pH, nutrient strength and solution temperature during vegetative growth and flowering. It also suits anyone who wants one meter for general water quality checks.
About HM Digital Hydromaster 100
The Hydromaster 100 from HM Digital measures pH from 0.1 to 14.0 with ±0.1 pH accuracy, EC from 0 to 10.00 mS and TDS from 0 to 9990 ppm, both with ±2% accuracy, and temperature from 0.0 to 60.0 °C (32.0 to 122.0 °F) with ±1 degree accuracy. It runs on a 5V/1A power source and uses a 24-inch shielded coaxial sensor cable. It includes a power cable, pH 4 and 7 calibration solutions and pH storage solution.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the meter calibrated when it arrives?
A: Yes, it is factory calibrated for pH, EC and TDS. You can still recalibrate with the push buttons to any point within range. pH 4 and 7 calibration solutions are included.
Q: What does automatic temperature compensation do?
A: Conductivity and pH readings shift with water temperature. Automatic temperature compensation adjusts the reading so values stay comparable as the solution warms or cools.
Q: Can I replace the probes?
A: Yes. The conductivity sensor is model SP-C2 and the pH sensor is model SP-P5. Both are replaceable when they wear out.
Q: What is the difference between EC and TDS?
A: EC measures how well the solution conducts electricity, shown here in mS. TDS estimates dissolved solids in ppm from that conductivity. The display shows pH with either EC or TDS, plus temperature.
Q: How do I store the pH sensor?
A: Keep the pH sensor in the included storage solution when not in use. This helps keep the sensor ready for accurate readings.
Q: What temperature range can the meter operate in?
A: The operating environment is 0 to 50°C with relative humidity of 80%. Keep the meter body in a suitable location near your reservoir.
