Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does a pre filter do?
A: A pre filter is an outer layer that captures dust and larger particles before air reaches the main filter. This helps keep the main media from clogging as quickly.

Q: How does it attach?
A: It uses an elastic band to stay in place over the filter. No tools are needed.

Q: How do I know if it fits my filter?
A: Match the listed 10 x 39 in size to your filter's dimensions. Measure your filter before ordering.

Q: Does it replace my main filter?
A: No. It works in front of the main filter and does not replace it. Odor control still depends on the main filter media.

Q: How many come in a sale?
A: One pre filter is sold per order unit.
