Charco Filters Plus Activated Carbon Filter - 4 x 8-in

Cleaner Exhaust Air for Small Grow Spaces - 4 x 8 in

Odor leaving a grow room is a problem for many indoor cultivators. This carbon filter treats exhaust air as it passes through a bed of virgin, coal-based activated carbon. The distributor rates it at 180 CFM and up to 99.5% odor removal.

The 4-inch connection and 8-inch filter body suit small to mid-sized indoor spaces, such as a single tent or a compact room, where a 4-inch inline fan is already in use.

A: It comes with a 4-inch flange pre-installed. It connects directly to 4-inch ducting.

A: The distributor gives an average lifespan of 1.5 years. Actual life depends on air humidity, temperature and how heavy the odor load is.

Q: What is virgin activated carbon?
A: Virgin activated carbon is newly produced carbon that has not been reclaimed or reused. Its porous structure traps odor molecules as air moves through it.

Q: Can it handle warm air?
A: Yes, it is designed to operate at temperatures up to 180°F. That covers typical grow room exhaust.

Q: Where does it go in my setup?
A: Place it on the exhaust side, usually with an inline fan pulling air through it. Match the fan to the filter's airflow rating.
