TrolMaster BETA-6 Digital Day/Night Humidity Controller - 110V

Two Humidity Targets, One Automatic Switch

Humidity needs typically shift between the light period and the dark period, but a single plug-in humidifier or dehumidifier usually holds just one setting until someone changes it by hand. The TrolMaster BETA-6 addresses that by letting growers program separate day and night relative humidity targets, anywhere from 20 to 90 percent RH, for whichever device is plugged into its outlet.

A precision humidity sensor rides on a 16 ft remote probe so the reading comes from canopy level rather than wherever the controller happens to be mounted, and a built-in photocell applies the correct setpoint automatically as light conditions change.

Key Features & Benefits

• Humidity Range 20-90% RH — covers most grow room humidity targets across propagation, veg, and flower.
• Built-In Photocell — switches between day and night settings automatically, without a manual timer.
• Humidifying or Dehumidifying — works with either type of plug-in device, matched to whichever one is connected.
• 16 Ft Humidity Sensor — positions at canopy height for a reading that reflects real plant-zone conditions.

Who Should Use the BETA-6 Humidity Controller

Growers running a single plug-in humidifier or dehumidifier who want distinct day and night RH targets, instead of resetting the device by hand twice a day, are the intended user for the BETA-6. It also works well for anyone standardizing a room around a simple, dedicated humidity device.

About TrolMaster

TrolMaster builds the BETA-6 as part of its single-task controller lineup, sold from the company's Sacramento, California base alongside the larger Hydro-X and Aqua-X systems. It fits growers who want day/night humidity automation on one device without a bigger multi-zone controller.

Frequently Asked Questions

What humidity range can the BETA-6 hold?

It covers 20% to 90% relative humidity, adjustable separately for day and night. A 5% deadband keeps the connected device from cycling excessively near the setpoint.

Can it run a humidifier and a dehumidifier together?

No, the BETA-6 controls one connected device at a time, configured as either a humidifier or a dehumidifier. A second BETA-6 would be needed to automate both.

How does the controller know when to switch settings?

A built-in photocell reads ambient light and automatically applies your saved day or night humidity target as conditions change. No manual switching is required.

Where should I position the humidity sensor?

Use the included 16 ft probe to place it near the plant canopy rather than at the controller. That placement gives a reading closer to what the plants actually experience.
