8 in Premium Propagation Dome with Vents - 10 x 20 x 8.25-in - Clear Plastic

Steady Humidity for Seeds and Cuttings - 8.25 in Dome Height

Seedlings and cuttings dry out quickly without a stable, humid space around them. This propagation dome covers the tray with clear plastic that lets light in while keeping moisture high and constant. It also retains heat supplied to the root zone, which supports germination and rooting.

At 10 x 20 in, this single dome suits hobbyists starting a first tray and regular indoor growers who run a few trays at a time. Commercial operations can add units as they add trays. The extra height gives young plants room before you remove the cover.

Key Features & Benefits

• Sealable vents installed — open or close them to manage humidity and airflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What size tray does this dome fit?
A: It fits most 10 x 20 in propagation trays. Check your tray's outer dimensions against the dome's 10 x 20 in footprint before you order.

Q: What are the vents for?
A: The sealable vents let you control humidity and air exchange. Keep them closed to hold moisture, and open them to release excess humidity.

Q: Does the dome provide heat?
A: No. It retains heat that you supply to the root zone, such as from a heat mat. It does not generate any warmth itself.

Q: Is a taller dome better than a shorter one?
A: A taller dome gives growing plants more clearance before you remove the cover. Shorter domes suit seeds just starting out. This 8 in height works for both seed starting and cuttings.

Q: What is a propagation dome?
A: It is a clear cover that sits over a tray to trap humidity and warmth. This helps seeds sprout and cuttings root.
