Keep Your Original pH Controller Dosing Reliably, 13 ft / 4 m

Dosing tubing wears, hardens and can be attacked by concentrated pH adjusters, and a failed line means an uncontrolled leak or a missed dose. This replacement acid/alkali (PTFE) tubing is made for the Bluelab pH Controller (CONTPH) and pH Controller Connect (CONTPHCON), so it fits the pump and fittings as designed. It is supplied in a 4 m / 13 ft length.

Both the pH Controller (CONTPH) and pH Controller Connect are no longer sold, so replacement tubing is how existing units stay in service. For the pH Controller Wi-Fi, use TUBEACID-SM.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Correct material — chemical-resistant PTFE for pH up and pH down.
  • Made to fit — designed for the Bluelab pH Controller (CONTPH) and pH Controller Connect (CONTPHCON).
  • Fittings included — 2x reducing 3–1.6 mm PVDF joiners.
  • Chemical guide — Bluelab lists maximum concentrations for this PTFE tubing of nitric acid under 35%, phosphoric acid under 85%, citric acid under 60%, and potassium hydroxide or potassium silicate under 60%.

Who Should Use this tubing

Owners of the original Bluelab pH Controller or pH Controller Connect replacing a worn dosing line.

About Bluelab Replacement Tubing

Bluelab supplies replacement dosing tubing for its controllers and PeriPod dosers. Bluelab notes that temperature, pressure and UV exposure can cause tubing failure, so test the tubing with your chemical in your application before relying on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use acid-rated tubing for pH adjusters?
pH up and pH down are concentrated chemicals that can degrade ordinary tubing. PTFE tubing resists these chemicals, which helps prevent leaks and failed doses.
What chemical concentrations can it handle?
As a guide, Bluelab lists maximum concentrations for this PTFE tubing of nitric acid under 35%, phosphoric acid under 85%, citric acid under 60%, and potassium hydroxide or potassium silicate under 60%. Bluelab notes that temperature, pressure and UV exposure can cause tubing failure, so test the tubing with your chemical in your application before relying on it.
How often should I replace dosing tubing?
Replace tubing when it shows cracking, hardening, discoloration or leaks, or if doses become inconsistent. Bluelab warrants PeriPod cassettes and tubing for 6 months, reflecting that they are wear parts.
Is the tubing cut to length?
It is supplied in a 4 m / 13 ft length. Fittings are included, as listed above.
