Mixing multi-part nutrients and correcting pH by hand is slow and hard to repeat batch after batch. The PeriPod is the dosing half of a Bluelab Pro Controller system: the controller measures the reservoir and the PeriPod's peristaltic pumps dose pH adjusters and nutrient stock solutions as needed. Set individual nutrient ratios in the Edenic app.

At ten times the flow of the M-series, the L3 suits commercial reservoirs where 120 ml/min pumps would take too long to correct. Note that L3 units cannot be combined with PeriPod M3 or M4 units.

The PeriPod L3 ships with a getting started guide, 4 m of acid/alkaline-resistant tubing for pH dosing and 3x 4 m lengths of food-grade nutrient tubing. It runs on a 24 V DC power supply and carries a 2-year limited warranty (6 months on cassettes and tubing).

Which controller do PeriPods work with?

PeriPods are dosers for the Bluelab Pro Controller Wi-Fi (BCTPRC02) and the earlier Pro Controller (CONTPRO). The controller measures the reservoir and tells the PeriPod when and how much to dose.

Can I mix PeriPod M and L models?

No. PeriPod M3 and M4 units cannot be connected on the same system as a PeriPod L3. Choose one series to match your reservoir size and link up to 12 pumps.

What is a peristaltic pump?

A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a flexible tube with rollers, so the solution only touches the tubing. That makes it accurate and well suited to concentrated nutrients and pH adjusters. Bluelab rates PeriPod flow accuracy at ±10% at 25°C / 77°F.

Do the pumps need calibration?

Calibration is not required, but each pump has a calibration feature so you can match it to the viscosity of the nutrient it doses. Individual priming is also supported.

Which acids can the tubing handle?

As a guide, Bluelab lists acid concentrations of less than 80% phosphoric, 35% nitric, 30% sulfuric or 20% citric acid by volume for PeriPods. Test tubing with your specific chemical before relying on it.
