Round-the-Clock Reservoir Monitoring With Phone Alerts, Wi-Fi
Reservoir pH and nutrient levels shift as plants feed, and a problem overnight can go unnoticed until plants react. The Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi measures pH, conductivity and temperature continuously and alarms when any reading leaves the range you set. Through the Edenic app, alerts reach your phone and you can review history and adjust alarm settings remotely.
It suits home growers who want peace of mind when away, and commercial operations that need continuous records across reservoirs. The plant-safe green display can be dimmed for dark periods.
Key Features & Benefits
- Continuous 3-parameter monitoring — pH 0.0–14.0, EC 0.0–5.0 and temperature on one display.
- High/low alarms — alerts for pH, temperature and conductivity, sent to your phone via Edenic.
- Non-volatile memory — settings are kept through power loss.
- Replaceable pH probe — BNC connection and 2 m / 6.6 ft probe cables.
Who Should Use the Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi
Hydroponic growers who want continuous reservoir oversight and alerts instead of periodic spot checks. It suits both single-reservoir home setups and commercial rooms.
About Bluelab Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi
The Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (which can be disabled) and runs on a 100–240 VAC power supply with four interchangeable plug adapters. It carries a 2-year limited warranty (6 months on the pH probe).
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between a monitor and a controller?
- A monitor measures and alarms but does not dose. The Guardian tells you when pH, EC or temperature drift; a controller such as the Bluelab pH Controller Wi-Fi also corrects pH automatically.
- Do I need Wi-Fi to use it?
- No. The display and alarms work without a connection, and Wi-Fi can be disabled. Connecting to Edenic adds phone alerts, remote alarm settings and history reporting.
- Which probes need calibration?
- Only the pH probe needs 2-point calibration with pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 (or pH 10.0). Conductivity and temperature need no calibration.
- Why are the LEDs green?
- Bluelab uses plant-safe green LEDs, and the brightness can be adjusted. This lets the monitor run in grow spaces during dark periods.
